Terms of service

1. Who we are

Kaelor Devices is the trading name of [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], registered in England and Wales under company number [COMPANY NUMBER], registered office Sir Henry Parkes Road, Coventry, England, CV4 8GG, United Kingdom. [VAT number: [VAT NUMBER] / We are not VAT registered.] Contact: support@kaelordevices.co.uk · [PHONE].

These terms apply to every purchase from kaelordevices.co.uk. By placing an order you agree to them. They don't affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. What we sell

New and used smartphones, laptops and other consumer electronics, mostly models made for markets outside the UK and imported by us. Every listing states:

  • the condition — New · sealed, New · open-box, or a used grade (Like New, Excellent, Very Good) as defined on our Conditions page;
  • the hardware region where known, and the installed software — stated separately, because they can differ (for example, a Samsung device with Korean firmware installed by us before dispatch);
  • whether Google Play works, and the results of any other tests we ran on that unit;
  • battery health of at least 90% on every used unit;
  • UK network support (4G / 5G) and eSIM support for the model;
  • whether the photographs show that unit or the batch it belongs to.

Please read the listing. A device sold as described is not faulty because it lacks something the listing said it lacks (for example, Google services on a Huawei device running HarmonyOS).

3. Ordering

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we email you to say the device has been dispatched; until then we can decline or cancel it (for example, if the device is no longer available or the price was shown incorrectly), and we'll refund anything you've paid straight away.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling. [They include UK VAT where applicable. / Used devices are sold under the VAT margin scheme; no VAT is shown separately on the invoice and none can be reclaimed.] Delivery is charged as shown at checkout. For deliveries outside the UK, import charges are handled as set out in our Delivery policy. Payment is taken at checkout through [Shopify Payments / PayPal].

5. Delivery

As set out in our Delivery policy. Risk in the device passes to you on delivery; ownership passes when we've received payment in full.

6. Cancelling, returns and faulty goods

As set out in our Returns & refunds policy: a 14-day right to cancel for any reason, and your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if a device is faulty or not as described.

7. Warranty

Every device comes with the 12-month Kaelor warranty described on our Warranty page. It's in addition to your statutory rights.

8. Your responsibilities

Back up your data before sending a device to us, and remove accounts and screen locks — we can't work on an activation-locked device. Don't send a device to the manufacturer or anyone else for repair without talking to us first; unauthorised repairs end the warranty.

9. Our liability

We're responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care, up to the price you paid for the device. We're not responsible for loss of data on a device, or for losses that weren't foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.

10. Complaints and disputes

Tell us first at support@kaelordevices.co.uk and we'll do our best to put it right. If we can't agree, you can use the Citizens Advice consumer service [or an approved ADR provider: [NAME]]. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction (if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can bring proceedings there too).

11. Changes

We may update these terms; the version on the site when you order is the one that applies to that order.
